The QueenRightDial – Mating Indicator is a purpose-built tool for tracking queen development through all critical stages of the mating process. It includes a single base plate, mating date plate, and a rotating indicator dial, plus water- and fade-resistant decals showing each key stage in the queen timeline. The tool can be reused across seasons and is designed to reduce unnecessary hive checks that can stress the colony.

The stages include:

• EGG (Days 1–3): Fertilized egg
• GRAFT (Day 4): Hatched egg, ready for grafting
• CELL/LARVA (Days 5–7): Developing queen larva
• CAPPED (Day 8): Queen cell capped
• DND PUPA (Days 9–14): Do Not Disturb – pupa stage
• DND EMERGING (Days 15–17): Do Not Disturb – emerging virgin
• DND MATING FLIGHTS (Days 18–23): Do Not Disturb – mating flights
