Detailed Description

This Guardian is built specifically for round entrance holes commonly drilled into the side of hive bodies, or used as upper entrances. The physical edges create a challenging surface for small hive beetles while still letting honey bees move through normally.

Alongside the physical barrier, the Guardian uses red light technology, which the manufacturer states helps deter small hive beetles and interfere with their ability to invade colonies.

Compatible with standard 10-frame and 8-frame Langstroth hives, as well as 5-frame nucleus colonies. Installation is straightforward and adapts easily to a variety of hive configurations.
